guest post: mrs. french

Hi all...it's me mrs. french.  I have a little blog called bliss and I am completely honored to be spending my Tuesday morning with all of you.  Thank you so much melis for the opportunity.  

I love lists...not to-do lists or anything productive, but pretty, pretty lists...I love compiling them and the way lovely things look all in a row (actually, some of you may be a bit tired of my lists by now...hehe).  This one is dedicated to our dear melis and the new house her and her sweet family are in the process of making a home.  Although we have never met in "real-life," I feel as if I have a pretty good idea of things she may like...not so tough, considering I am often amazed by how similar we seem to be.

If I could make a gigantic housewarming basket and leave it on her doorstep this is what I would put in it...

a magical candle shade,

a loveable chair (via the always brilliant design sponge),

hadley's amazing work of art,

a little family of birds ,

a scalloped pillow, 

some teacups, 

a fancy rug,

a pretty, little table,

an etched tray,

and some perfect, linen pillowcases.

there you have it....if I could do it for real I would.  Actually, I may decide to make a duplicate big old basket for myself...hehe...
