Hello sweet friends,
We had a challenging request yesterday...lovely reader Lindsey who has a special need for some design help. Lindsey recently changed jobs after working for 4 years at a "fantastic center for the homeless" Now Lindsey is working for a "cause and social marketing company". This is Lindsey's dilemma in her own words ...
".. my dilemma is that I now have a very nice and very large new
office that is totally bare. It is desperate for color, design, and
inspiration. I really need some help finding a few items to help jazz
up my space. I only have a few requirements. Everything must be:
-appropriate for work
-help to inspire (or just generate general happiness :))
- I can't paint or do anything else that would anger the building management
-must be relatively cheap - I don't want to spend more than around $50
to upgrade the whole space"

~cute lamp here $4.99
~happiness in paper form here $12.00
~"keep on the sunny side" here $12.00
~"be kind"
here $8.00 ( I have a beautiful green "be kind" from Marichelle's shop and it is perfection) I think a green one would be nice for Sydney's space too!
~"welcome" original
here $3.00
So, Ez and I thought there would be some things Lindsey could re-purpose from her home for the larger pieces(desk, chairs, etc) and paint them if needed. I think it would be nice to have a lot of white & clean pieces with the greys and blacks accents for depth and art for inspiration and cheerfulness! I sure hope you like it Lindsey...I am not sure if your space needs curtains but, if so you could always do something like this(which is inexpensive but, fresh and accommodating for all spaces.) And for a rug to liven up the space and tie all these pieces together you could try this one. Don't forget to check out Ez's room right here!
Have a wonderful Tuesday friends!
See you back here tomorrow for a wonderful new tea & talk!
