Hello sweet friends!
The sun has finally been shining here a bit and I couldn't be happier! It is fitting then that our lovely artist today is a ray of sunshine herself.
Alicia has an amazing eye for capturing beauty in everything she sees. A talent for taking something fleeting and making it timeless. Alicia was one of the very first artists I was introduced to when I first started following blogs and still love her work just as much as I did then. In fact, it was truly difficult to pick just a few pieces to feature here today as I could have picked them all! So, without further ado, here is lovely Alicia! ( got your cuppa? Are you comfy? Great! )
1. 3 living things you treasure
1. My family.
2. The Great Lakes. I love being surrounded by water.
3. My yard. I love how carefully my husband cares for the grass, and how reckless I am with the flower gardens and vegetables...no plan, just random plantings. They are a nice match.
2. 3 non-living things that you treasure
1. My Yashica Mat 124 camera (I rarely use it because it is in mint condition, and I have been known to be a bit clumsy.)
2. My vintage Schwinn bike. I love the sounds of an old bike.
3. The collection of photographs on the wall above my desk. I love looking at the people who inspire me most while I work.
3. favorite time of the year and why
Right now, today.... and every other gorgeous late-spring day.
I love the anticipation of summer, the plans being made, warmer days that hint at what is to come.

Usually, I save my perfumes for "date nights". But, while I was in Paris this spring I discovered, Lolita Lempicka: Fleur de Corail. I have been wearing it constantly ever since. It reminds me of both Paris, and a day by the sea.
