Hello sweet friends!
Another wednesday and another fun peek into a lovely ladies bag! Today's bag is from the adorable Suze, a new blogger and a lovely reader! Suze lives in Italy and has a fantastic bag with some real treasures inside! Would you like to see? Great!
1. This beautiful bag is pure "family vintage"! It was my grandma's and then my mum used it (two fabulously elegant ladies, btw, seriously). I re-discovered it some years ago and one day by chance I opened the internal zipper and... Jump to number 14 for the surprise item!
My mum insists that the buckle is the original one and it has always been this way, but I'm pretty sure the original one was replaced by this one at some point in time in the past for whatever reason, which makes the bag even more special and precious, no?
2. "Small Padded Gadget Bag" by Borsa Bella One of my first purchases on Etsy, perfect for my camera. (I recommend to buy also the "Adjustable Strap Handle"
3. Home keys and angel keychain, from my friend Vero.
4. Local free press magazine and Glamour UK Edition (much better than the Italian one and to practice my English...).
5. Plastic Pucca purse, I use it for the meal vouchers at the office.
6. My perfect Gucci wallet. And the story is: few years ago I was in Milan with my boyfriend for the weekend and we had planned to go to the theatre. That evening on our way to the theatre I was pick-pocketed in the metro, and they stole my old ugly wallet were I also had the credit card I needed to retrieve the theatre tickets I bought on the web, not to mention money, documents, all! We spent the evening at the police station. No need to say I was... ehm... disappointed.
To cheer me up, the day after my boyfriend insisted to go and buy me a fantastic designer wallet, isn't he lovely? :)
7. My red Moleskine notebook.
8. Aqua iPod nano, with angel cover.
9. Lip balm.
10. Blotting paper, very handy for super-quick fixes! Present from Japan by my friend Betta.
11. My new phone (ok, I admit I chose it just because I like the color...)
12. Mixed coins, tickets and papers.
13. A pencil.
14. When I opened the inside zipper of this bag, probably after many years from the last time it was opened, I found this. It reads "To my dear mummy, with love" (with a minor spelling mistake...). :)
It's something I'd done for my mum, who knows when, when I was a child and it's a carton purse with collage decoration that contains something that would probably be a handmade notebook. I was into crafting then already... :). It stays always in the inside zipper of this bag, where it belongs. And always puts a smile on my face when I see it.
Isn't that the sweetest? Suze, thank you SO much for taking part in this series! It was an absolute pleasure to have you and I wish you lots of luck with your new blog! Have a wonderful day everyone! I will see you back here tomorrow with a new "the little things". Until then.....be well.
