Hello lovelies.....
This has been a good week. Ya know? Sometimes you just have a week that is stellar. How about you? How has your week been? Of course I am wishing the same kind of week for you. Once again, I need to mention some folks I met at NYIGF. When I first started blogging I was introduced to a wonderful lady named Katie Runnels. Perhaps you know Katie? She is warm, talented, incredibly creative and consistently finds artists and creatives that I have never seen before. A visit to her blog is always inspiring and she is truly connected to the art of craft and creating. When I was at NYIGF, I happened upon a booth that had a magnificent display of larger than life, colorful, trompe l'oeil soft frames. I was smitten & came to realize that the booth belonged to shopSCAD and that Katie's best friend, Amy,was running the show along with a lovely gal named Megan. Amy & Katie were entrusted with the creation of shopSCAD in 2003 & It was almost like hugging & chatting with Katie when I met Amy( also, a sweet tour of Amy's lovely home here). Of course I had to buy a frame, like the one below, from them. Isn't it grand? It is a little thing that is making me very happy today. ( and thank you ladies for being so warm & sweet)
3 little things:
~ sigh....whales, I love them. This vintage educational reproduction print is just perfect. It went straight to the top of my wishlist. here.
~ Puffy frame from Working Class Studio ( a division of SCAD) here
~ gorgeous bag here ( ok, I admit....I have wanted a Valhalla Brooklyn bag for years. No, really...years. And I was in the market for a new bag so, I finally took the plunge!)
3 little moments:
~ going out with my pal Andrea & then coming home and finding my littlest one asleep, wearing my shirt and a little note that said " I miss you mommy" ( broke. my. heart. )
~ watching my hubby & two girls have a wrestling fest (lots of giggling ensued)
~ being asked to help Holly & Leslie during their awesome "Blogging your way" class in NYC on March 3rd. Honored & thrilled to be spending the day with two ladies who constantly inspire me. ( thanks lovely ladies- they will also be conducting the class on March 4th, details here. )
What about you, my friends? Any little things or little moments that are making you happy today? I would really love to hear about them.
Have a wonderful day & I will see you back here tomorrow....until then, be well.
xo
Melis
