Hello my dears!
So. I listened and was so facinated by your responses to my survey yesterday! Thank you, first of all, for taking the time to take it & help me out. ( it will be open the rest of the week so, if you haven't already & have a moment...I would really appreciate your feedback- here) I was surprised to see so many of you say you want to see more personal content from me. Interesting...I just assumed that would not be the case, isn't that funny? I wasn't surprised to see that so many of you wanted to see more cheap & chic. :)
I have been trying to figure out a way to incorporate more of my love of interiors and since I know most of us are trying to do things on a budget ( most of the time) I thought I would try my hand at a C & C interiors feature. I made a stab at it today but, hoping I will get a little more adept at it ( for your sakes). But, I thought I would get this one up today to show you that I heard you and am listening. Bear with me as I get more of these under my belt. Oh, and let me know what you think! As you know, I value your opinion.
Interior shot from here: The home of Aya Yamanouchi Lloyd
~ small mirror here $171.99
~ vintage bottles here $20.00
~ vintage barn ladder here $49.00
~ geometric pillow here $22.00
~ coffee table here $329.00
~ velvet chaise here $795.00
~ rag rug here $29.00 ( You could always buy 2 or 3 and sew them together to create a larger rug & still only be paying about $90.00)
~ large mirror here $175.00
Some of the pieces are from Craigslist, obviously. So, checking on Craigslist in your particular area is always a good idea. Or yard sales ( especially for mirrors, it seems like folks always have an abundance of mirrors that they are trying to get rid of! Why is that?) I would prefer that the chaise had cleaner lines, like the one in the original. But, there you have it! I hope you like it, my friends.
I will see you back here tomorrow, until then be well.
xo

ps and for my reader who was a little concerned that everything would begin to go to hell in a "cheap & chic" basket....Don't worry! I will always be able to find plenty of expensive things to keep us on our toes! :)
