Hello, hello,
I have long been a fan of screen doors, for the front or back or both. It reminds me of my childhood, spending summers in Virginia, on a 160 acre farm, in an old but, beautiful farmhouse with screen doors galore. I loved the sound they made when they closed and I loved that they let the breeze, & outdoors, in. Someday I would love to put some on our doors. So, when I saw this brilliant embellishment from Aesthetic Outburst, I fell head over heels.(thanks Erin, for the heads up) It is a little thing that is making my day, today.
Little things:
~ Abbey's front door ( embroidered "Hello" diy by Abbey & brass plaque is inscribed with one of her favorite quotes, done at her local trophy shop. I adore that idea too.)
~ Southern Living tableware here - It is a teensy bit sad that a lot of the bowls & plates we received, as wedding gifts 12 years ago, are breaking left and right. We are bound to be in the market for new ones, and I love these in the pretty blue & cream.
~ wallpaper here ( eep. mad for this beautiful wallpaper, I can think of several walls I would love to put this on ** come to think of it- I may have shared this wallpaper before...clearly, I am still obsessed. :)
Little moments:
~ having such an amazing time in my jewelry/metal smithing class, I have an even greater appreciation for jewelry now ( I didn't think that was possible). There is so much minute labor involved and requires so much patience. I am seriously loving every moment of it.
~ giggling with my littlest when I put her to bed last night
~ my hubby cracking me up, even though I was in a grouchy mood :)
