Hello, my friends...
Did you have a lovely weekend? Anything fun or exciting happen, that you want to share? We had a good weekend; a birthday party, a great dinner with friends. I also began the process of moving us up to the third floor, in our house. We have a really lovely third floor, which has always been the guest room & guest bathroom. For awhile now, I have been feeling the need to spread out a bit & take over that second bathroom. It started to seem silly that noone ( except the occasional guest) was using the largest bathroom in the house & all 4 of us used one bathroom! Silly, right? Actually, make that 5 of us, when my father in law is living with us ( which he does about 4 months out of the year). It is going to take all week, probably. To move all of our stuff upstairs, our littlest one into our old room & begin the process of making her old room a guest room/ office for me. But, this is what I live for so, it will be fun rearranging everything. :) I thought I would share a few things that are inspiring me on this monday morning.
~ "A heart-shaped meadow, created by a farmer as a tribute to his late wife, can be seen from the air near Wickwar, South Gloucestershire. The point of the heart points towards Wotton Hill, where his wife was born."
How beautiful is that?! A tribute to his late wife. A huge gesture of love.
~ I love this. I saw this and it occured to me that my marriage would have been illegal as well, in 1922. As my hubby is Asian American. I love that this couple took this photo, I am assuming, to support gay marriage. Beautiful.
~ Love stars. Especially gold ones. Love that someone thought, "I know what this building needs! A few golden stars!" Yep. I agree. All buildings could use some golden stars. :) ( if anyone knows the source for this pic, I would love to know. I couldn't seem to find the original source)
Have a wonderful start to your week, my friends. I will see you back here tomorrow. Until then, be well.
xo
