Hello lovelies...
Here's to the start of a new week! How were your weekends? Anything fun or exciting to share? Let's hear it! :) We had a snowed in, relaxed & fun weekend. My eldest gal's school play was this weekend and there was a sleepover, dinner with family and lots of rest. Over the weekend, I also rearranged my study. What?! Shocker! ME, rearranging furniture?! ( if you know me, you know I do that all the time). I have got it in my head that when I finally have a jewelry workshop in my house, it will be in that room. There is room to expand out onto the sunporch that is attached to that room & I love the light in there. So, I rearranged and thought about ways to make it conducive to what I hope it will be. It is so hard for me to wait. I would be in there, experimenting and creating all day, if it was set up. I can't wait for that to come to fruition. Fingers crossed. I was inspired, over the weekend, by a creative space, a diy and some good words to remember. I thought I would share them with you....
~ This is a kid's space but, I just love the use of color. It is so happy & so inspiring. The colors all work together so beautifully and though it may be alot, for some...it is perfect to me. Plus, the pegboard behind the pictures, factors in prominently in my study/workshop ideas. :) From here ( via Holly)
~ This is just an ordinary flush mount from Home Depot but, the diy paint job is stellar. I love the patina she achieved and what a great way to upgrade those standard flush mounts that alot of us have in our rooms. No? From here
~ Just a little reminder....we can all use from time to time. Things DO have a way of working out, sometimes it takes alot of time but, it works out in the end. by Emmy
I hope you have a wonderful start to your week, my friends! I will see you back here tomorrow for a new cheap & chic.
Until then, be kind to yourselves.
