Vibrant color, one of my favorites and a pensive bear. A little art to brighten your mid-week day.
~ Zutto's work is new to me. A self-taught artist from Russia. I love the whimsy and vibrancy in her work.
~ Olaf Hajek's work has been one of my all time favorites for awhile now. I never get tired of seeing his pieces, I feel like I discover something new in them, every time. The palette he uses always speaks to me, too. Soothing and rich, together.
~ I'm pretty sure I featured on of Daniela's birds, last week. But, couldn't resist sharing this beautiful & thoughtful bear. I love the soft lines in her pieces and the soothing & beautiful colors.

A little art to brighten your mid-week day. Gorgeous color, a perfect night and my favorite blue. Some old favorites and some new. I hope you enjoy!
~ Instill by Yellena ( I have been a fan of Yellena's work for a long time now & when I saw this piece, above, I knew it was time to visit her shop and get reacquainted. I love those colors so much & especially together. Just gorgeous.)
~ This piece, by Yelena Bryksenkova, was her "response to Hila Shachar's "why i adore the night" challenge on her blog le projet d'amour." I have been a fan of Yelena's work for quite some time, also. My favorite piece, of Yelena's, has always been this one.
~ I was just recently introduced to Grace Lee's work and I guess it isn't a surprise that I love it. Her work is so delicate and lovely and I am forever a sucker for this type of illustration. This particular piece, was for a story from 3petitspoints magazine ( and the blue around the fountain is one of my favorite shades). I love this piece, too.

Hello, hello!
I am so sorry for no posts at the beginning of the week! Things were a little busy around here...my littlest one's birthday was monday and my hubby came home from being in Hawaii for 2 weeks, for work. (poor guy) :) So, we were busy celebrating and running around alot. I wanted to share some beautiful pieces I saw this week, to brighten your mid-week day. Despite the storm that is supposed to hit here tonight, I am still keeping spring in my heart. A crazy- beautiful rug, a gorgeous collage piece & dots that will make you sing.
~ Benji Davies's work is new to me & I have lovely Amy to thank for the introduction. This piece is a rug (yeah, a RUG) that Benji was commissioned to design for Node: "We aim to connect a worldwide network of designers and artists with traditional Nepalese carpet makers to create beautiful handmade rugs." I don't know if I could ever put this beauty on my floor. I would have to hang it on a wall, for sure.
~ I have long loved Phillipa Leith's work and the fact that you can get bespoke wallpaper created by Phillipa is just....sublime. This piece would take pride of place in my home. It is perfection, to me.
~ Emily Green's work is also new to me and isn't it happy inducing? I adore the colors in this piece and though I couldn't find it in Emily's shop, I put in a little email to her, to see if it will be back.

~ Hevio Tamamura's work is new to me ( thanks, to the lovely Lisa, for the introduction) I don't know what I love more; the bear's startled expression, the stark contrast between the black and green or the simplicity of the piece.
~ Lin Jinfu's work is also new to me, I found him through this wonderful art blog, The Art Room Plant (also, via Lisa). Gorgeous realism with a touch of whimsy and beautiful use of color. love.

So sorry there haven't been any posts this week, until today. A few of us were a little under the weather the past few days. Much better today and everyone is back in school.
